WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ?

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ?

Dear Parents,

We have been surrounded by so many options of summer camps , extra circular activities , sports, drawing, music classes  and on and on and on............ and what are we left with -- a real tough task to figure out
1- how good classes are
2- will my kids like it
3- what will they gain from it in long term or is it just experimenting
4-how about time and cost of it plus what about missed sessions
5- will these classes benefit him, in school or further studies
on and on and on......
And to top that are our friends recommendations , their kids doing well in those classes , results we see of those kids and advertisements....

Well, with so much to take , we kind of miss out on basic simple rule- WHAT MY CHILD WANTS AND WHAT I WANT WITH MY CHILD ?

Majority of parents we meet want to enhance their child's academic skills or points, grades which is definitely a great option from parents point of view  but how about working on the same enhancement using multiple intelligence and letting child explore his intelligence quotient.

How about enriching child with growth mindset rather then fixed mindset and allowing him  exploring and giving child freedom to enhance rather then judging all his process on his results only .

How about giving child opportunity to develop success skills which he uses in his day to day life and grows with it.

What is more important to you and your child -public speaking or self-confidence,communication skills and people's intelligence explored.
What would you choose - finished paintings or skills to draw any painting at his wish with creative thinking skills and spatial intelligence.
What is preferred - skills fro faster calculations or enhancing one's logical intelligence with perseverance and self -esteem.

What do you think about exploring different options which are child focused rather then result focused to please parents, which touches child basic core values rather then competitive results.

WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOUR CHILD ?
